WELCOME TO CORNER COTTAGE KESWICK
Corner Cottage offers cosy self catering holiday accommodation in Keswick, Cumbria with off road parking and is ideally located for exploring the Northern Lake District and Cumbria
Corner Cottage sits next to the Greta River and is ideally located within a 5 minute walk of the towns centre with it's many amenities including a Leisure Centre with pool, the Theatre by the Lake, Cinema, Museums and a variety of shops,pubs, teashops, cafes and restaurants. Keswick is a Market Town and on Thursday and Saturday mornings there is an excellent market in the town centre with a large variety of local fresh produce, crafts and clothing.
Next to Corner Cottage is the world famous Derwentwater Pencil Museum and within a 100m, for the more adventurous, there is a Mountain Bike Hire shop and Climbing Wall.
Walkers are welcome, we have no washer/drier on site but there is an excellent launderette 100m along the road. They even serve tea and coffee or for a fee do it all for you.
There are many Keswick walks from the front door and for those of you bringing your dogs there is Fitz Park @ 3 min walk from the cottage. In the cottage we have a file containing many walks from the cottage and in the local area, plus further afield, of varying ease and difficulty to suit all tastes.
Keswick sits on the edge of Lake Derwentwater which has an excellent regular ferry service stopping at various points around the lake; This allows you to walk out from the cottage, walk as far as you like and return via the ferry, or you may do the opposite.
This also applies to the excellent bus services which have their main terminus at Booths supermarket which is a 2 minute walk from the cottage down Bridge Terrace opposite.
This end of terrace cottage has lovely views to the rear of Skiddaw and Latrigg and views from the front towards Cat Bells, Barrow and Grisedale Pike.
