Welcome to Corner Cottage, which offers cosy self catering holiday accommodation in Keswick, Cumbria with off road parking and is ideally located for exploring especially the Northern Lake District and Cumbria; without even having to get back into your car if you wish.
Corner Cottage, one of three workers cottages for Greta Hall where both 19thC poets Coleridge and Southey lived, sits next to the Greta River and is ideally located within a 5 minute walk of the town's centre with it's many amenities including a Leisure Centre with pool, the Theatre by the Lake, Cinema, Museums and a variety of shops, pubs, teashops, cafes and restaurants.
Keswick is a Market Town and on Thursday and Saturday mornings there is an excellent market in the town centre with a large variety of local produce, crafts and clothing etc.

Corner Cottage is within 100m of the world famous Derwentwater Pencil Museum, and now the new James Bond Museum is just a few yards further up the lane by the cottage and Keswick Mountain Bike Hire.
Walkers are welcome, we have no washer/drier on site but there is an excellent launderette 100m along the road. They even serve tea and coffee or for a fee do it all for you.
There are many walks from the front door, in the cottage there is a file containing some of them and others in the local area and also those further afield, to suit all tastes.
Keswick sits on the eastern edge of Lake Derwentwater which has an excellent regular ferry service stopping at various points around the lake; Various combinations of walk and ferry ride are possible and this also applies to the excellent bus services, main terminus at Booth's supermarket two minutes walk from the cottage down Bridge Terrace opposite.
This end of terrace cottage has lovely views to the rear of Skiddaw and Latrigg and from the front towards Cat Bells, Barrow and Grisedale Pikes.
