A little drive or bus takes you to Grasmere or Ambleside for a variety of easy? challenging walks of almost any length. The one we took for the next few photos was around 8 miles of easy strolling in February 2006.

These two are photos taken in the Snow on th 12th March 2006....A Winter Wonderland.....there was such fun to be had on sledges and skis, and numerous snowball fights.
